Duties of the MOT Technician
- Conduct MOT tests and re-tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work to high standards as an MOT Technician
- Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding on a variety of vehicles
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and vehicle preparation as an MOT Technician
- Assist customers and liaise with them about vehicle repairs and work
- Work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Valid MOT Tester Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
