Housing Options (Homelessness) Officer Grade F: £30,024- £33,699 per annum (pay award pending). Permanent – 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess housing and support needs for applicants who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
  • Work with a wide range of partner agencies to find solutions to address the support and housing needs of applicants.
  • Work with applicants and partners to agree personalised housing plans.
  • Make statutory decisions regarding homelessness in accordance with current legislation.
  • Take proactive steps to reduce rough sleeping and prevent homelessness.
  • Manage waiting list and nomination agreements with registered providers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Basic DBS disclosure required.
