We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
This position requires a proactive individual who can communicate effectively and is willing to drive to various locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment by engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Experience in home care or care home settings is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care plans and documentation is advantageous.
- Ability to drive safely and possess a valid driving licence is necessary for this role.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are crucial attributes for success in this position.
