Your new company An established and fast-growing transportation organisation based in the Wirral is seeking Customer Service Advisors to join their busy operations team on an initial 8-week temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong possibility of the assignment being extended.
Your new role As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers and service operators, handling incoming calls, processing bookings, and ensuring all enquiries are managed efficiently.
Working within a busy contact centre environment, you will support the day-to-day operation of transport services whilst delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound calls from customers and service operators
- Accurately processing bookings and service requests using internal systems
- Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Updating customers on delays, cancellations, and service changes
- Monitoring shared inboxes and processing booking requests
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Providing first-class customer service at all times
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a customer service, call centre, contact centre, or telephone-based role
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
What you get in return
- Β£12.98 per hour
- Full-time position working either 6:00am to 2:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm
