Responsibilities
- Carry out ad-hoc Tramper driving work across the UK, collecting and delivering from all major customer sites, using a refrigerated box trailer and other vehicles as required.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage using bars, straps, nets, and other securing devices.
- Carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections using your company‑issued phone to maintain the highest road‑safety and reliability standards.
- Keep in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Participate in regular training sessions to keep skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence and readiness to drive confidently and skillfully.
- Current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident, courteous, and cooperative team player contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes accurately.
