The Head Teacher is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful Welsh Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), including GCSE Welsh. This is a key role within the department, helping pupils develop their linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and exam techniques, while following and implementing the school’s schemes of learning.
Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Welsh or language specialism (ECTs / NQTs welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Welsh up to KS4 / GCSE level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A genuine passion for Welsh language, culture, and teaching
- Willingness to support extra-curricular Welsh or cultural activities
