Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑set lessons across a range of subjects to maintain learning continuity.
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Use positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and productive learning environment.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to improve engagement and confidence.
- Work alongside teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams to support progress and wellbeing.
- Encourage resilience, motivation and independence in learners.
Qualifications & Skills
- Calm, confident and strong communicator.
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping young people succeed.
- Interest in SEN, mental health, psychology, youth work, coaching or mentoring.
- Adaptable, able to respond positively in a busy school environment.
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusion.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
