An exciting opportunity has arisen for a business manager to support with managing our admin service and supporting the wider management team. The admin team supports the All Age Disability service (AAD) in Wirral with a range of tasks including telephony, minuting of governance and safeguarding meetings, inputting onto the social care database system, overseeing petty cash, ordering, and providing general governance support to the management team. As Business Manager, you will provide direct management oversight to our admin colleagues, as well as supporting with the general governance structures of AAD and our contract management process. Some experience of overseeing projects and managing change would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the business support team
  • Provide support to the management team in terms of governance structures, report writing, etc.
  • Oversee the budget of the service and the management of petty cash
  • Coordinate responses to complaints, compliments and incidents
  • Oversee the co-ordination of minute taking
  • Support the management team with contract compliance and performance management
  • Provide additional support with service development and improvement projects as required
