Join our dynamic team as a Staff Nurse in our evolving Emergency Village, which incorporates the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Fairfield General Hospital.
We are recruiting Registered Nurses with post‑registration experience in both our Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre.
Our Emergency Department is a fast‑paced, high‑stakes clinical environment where urgent, unpredictable cases are assessed, stabilised, and treated by a skilled multidisciplinary team providing immediate, life‑saving care.
Our Urgent Treatment Centre provides high‑quality, patient‑centred care to patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, where you will encounter a variety of presentations and gain extensive knowledge.
You will also embody our core values of CARE, APPRECIATE and INSPIRE, supporting patients and their families to ensure the best experience possible.
This vacancy is open to those who hold a current NMC PIN and have experience working in high‑acuity areas.

Qualifications
- Current NMC registration with a valid PIN
- Post‑registration experience in an Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre
- Knowledge of working in a high‑acuity area and managing associated pressures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
