Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work as few as 12 hours if desired.
We will schedule your contracted hours within the listed windows and give you 3 weeks notice of shift times.
Responsibilities
Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
Putting into practice the training received, working safely, effectively, and serving customers brilliantly.
Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
Being knowledgeable about store performance, understanding your part and how to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink to deliver profit.
Handling products with care to maintain quality.
Living values, making everyone feel welcome and always following policies.
Accepting deliveries into the store when required.
Delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, building rapport, taking initiative, working well with the team, communicating openly, building relationships, arriving on time, well presented, and acting as a brand ambassador.
