Location: Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4LS

Salary: £14.11 – £15.17 per hour (equivalent to £27,514.50 – £29,581.50 per annum)

Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Rota Pattern: 3‑week rolling rota (mix of early 7:30‑15:30 and late 15:00‑22:00 shifts)

Annual Leave: 33 days per year

About us: We provide individualised education and care programmes for children and young people aged 11 to 19 years, with autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Our facilities are set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, offering a spacious, safe and tranquil learning environment.

Role Overview: As a Shift Leader you will support the young people to lead valued and fulfilling lives, maximizing their potential across physical, intellectual, emotional and social domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team of residential support staff, ensuring each shift runs smoothly.
  • Respond appropriately to any safeguarding issues and follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Calm and even‑tempered
  • Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or currently enrolled in the Diploma)
  • A valid current driving licence
  • Minimum of 6 months’ previous experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties who may present challenging behaviour
