Paragon Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Bromsgrove and surrounding areas. We have opportunities available for immediate starts and September 2026, including day‑to‑day supply, long‑term placements, and permanent positions. The Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Encourage pupil confidence, engagement, and progress
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Cache Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils
  • Experience within UK schools, nurseries, or youth settings
  • Knowledge of phonics or intervention support
  • Behaviour support experience
