We are seeking a reliable, proactive and highly organised Site Manager to lead and manage site services across the Federation of Catshill Middle School and Catshill First School.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of site operations across both schools, including buildings, grounds, security and utilities
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with contractors and ensuring value for money
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety, fire safety, and statutory premises requirements
- Acting as a keyholder, responding to alarms, emergencies and out‑of‑hours callouts as required
- Supporting lettings and school events, including occasional evening or weekend working
- Line management of the Catshill First School Caretaker, including work allocation and performance oversight
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance systems in line with Trust expectations
Qualifications and Skills
- Practical, organised and able to manage priorities across more than one site
- Collaborative working with school leaders, colleagues and contractors
- Good range of DIY skills
- Working knowledge of COSHH and other statutory Health and Safety Regulations
- Possesses IT skills
- Calm, reliable and solution‑focused, with a flexible approach to the needs of a busy school environment
- Relevant qualifications or training in health and safety, site management or premises compliance are desirable

Additional Requirements
The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
Employment Details
- Hours: 37 hours per week, full year, permanent.
- Grade: Scale 6, SCP 18-23, £31,537-£34,434 p.a.
- Closing date: Friday 8th May 2026 @4pm.
