Event Steward

Days: Every Sunday from 7th June - 13th September 2026

Time: 1pm - 5:30pm

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Location: Bromsgrove

Event Stewards to support the Music in the event programme every Sunday. The successful candidate must undergo a basic DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Event Site Co-ordinator
  • Set up and pack away the bandstand area and seating
  • Collect and return keys via access code system and lock the Pavilion at the end of each event
  • Manage site access arrangements, including parking assist with overflow car park management
  • Provide access to electrical power (2x standard sockets available)
  • Ensure the park is left clean and tidy and carry out litter picking during performances
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Perform banksman duties when required, directing vehicles during loading/unloading
  • Welcome bands on arrival and act as the main on-site contact

  • Comfortable with light manual handling (chairs, basic set-up tasks)
