Hours
- Basic 40 hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm; Saturdays on a rota basis 8:00 am – 12:00 noon with paid overtime.
- Stocktake weekend once a year.
Your Role
- Serve customers with general building products.
- Pick order for deliveries.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Maintain stock control, waste management and yard security.
- Housekeep and organise the yard.
- Pick orders and load company vehicles ready for delivery.
- Work with branch staff to proactively create a safe working environment.
- Move and arrange stock manually and using mechanical lifting equipment.
- Rotate stock and assist with yard merchandising.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good customer service skills.
- Counterbalance forklift licence is desirable. Training available.
- Knowledge of building products is desirable.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Self‑motivated, able to work as part of a team and independently.
