City of Bristol College is recruiting temporary Student Services staff to support our busy Admissions and Enrolment period over the summer. These roles are key to providing a welcoming, efficient and supportive experience for applicants and learners joining the College.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Admissions Support
- Process and respond to Admissions and Enrolment inbox emails
- Rebook enrolment appointments and issue updated invites
- Handle incoming phone enquiries from applicants and parents/carers
- Provide general administrative support to the Admissions and Student Services teams
- Enrolment Data Entry
- Process paper enrolment forms
- Ensure information is entered accurately into college systems
- Check documentation and follow up where required
- Support Student Services teams with general administrative tasks
- Additional Duties (both roles)
- Might be asked to support the invigilation of summer GCSE exams – full training will be provided
Working Pattern and Start Dates
Roles will begin with training in July, with hours building as activity increases throughout the summer. Contracts offer up to full-time hours, and work will be based across our college sites. Travel between locations may be required.
Training and Support
Full induction and training will be provided for all duties, including systems, customer service processes, and exam invigilation responsibilities.
