Your new school is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Year 5/6 teacher to join their school. The successful candidate will be contributing to turning the lives of vulnerable people around. You will be a hardworking, energetic, and professional with experience in helping children that are at risk of exclusion, harm or have already been excluded from mainstream education. The school is situated in the North Bristol area and is aimed at helping pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. Responsibilities
- In this role as a Year 5/6 teacher you will be trusted in the day-to-day running of classes.
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a pleasant, stimulating and positive environment.
- Be a leader of learning with high expectations for every child and provide a carefully structured and thorough educational experience which enables pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified teacher status.
- In-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Experience working within a KS2 setting (useful but not essential).
- An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one.
- The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
