The Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC) is the regional specialist centre for Oncology, Haematology and Palliative Care in the South West. We are delighted to offer Band 5 Staff Nurse opportunities across our clinical areas. Our inpatient wards, Same Day Emergency Care centre and Chemotherapy Day Unit provide an excellent platform to specialise, broaden experience and develop a rewarding nursing career in cancer care. We would love to hear from newly qualified nurses and experienced Band 5 staff. At application or interview you can state a preferred clinical area, while benefiting from opportunities to work across services, with different staff groups, and rotate as part of your development.

Clinical areas:

  • Ward D603 – Specialist Haematology and Oncology Inpatient Ward and Teenage and Young Adult Inpatient Ward (D601)
  • Ward D703 – Combined Haematology and Stem Cell Transplant Ward
  • Ward D701 – Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) & Rapid Access Unit
  • D502 – Chemotherapy Day Unit (Hospital & Community Satellites)
  • D501 – Oncology and Haematology Outpatients Department
