We are looking for an experienced and proactive paediatric dietitian to join our neonatal intensive care, high dependency unit, special and transitional care services. The post provides a NICU nutrition service within our tertiary centre for infants requiring neonatal care, involving critical care, high dependency and transition to specialist wards. As a senior member you will support and supervise other dietetic team staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide NICU nutrition service to infants in critical care, high dependency and unit transitions.
- Deliver dietetic assessment and intervention for neonatal patients.
- Support and supervise other members of the dietetic team.
- Participate in student training, quality improvement, research and audit.
- Attend regular meetings with supervisor and contribute to service development.
Qualifications
- Previous clinical paediatric experience in neonatal nutrition.
- Interest in developing dietetic skills using the BDA Knowledge and Skills Framework for dietitians working in neonatal services.
- Band 7 level (surgical) position.
