This role will be within our Metering team – you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
What will you be doing?
- Exchange traditional meters for smart meters, responding to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of E.ON NEXT.
- Ensure all jobs are completed on time and customers understand the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter.
- Perform installation and ongoing maintenance of smart meters in customers’ homes (approximately 5 jobs per day).
- Travel within your area using a tablet to view daily jobs, with a schedule available up to two weeks in advance.
- Complete work consistently, meeting health and safety requirements and contributing to continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring (Qualifications)
- Valid UK driving licence held for at least one year with less than six points.
- Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.
- CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
- Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi‑rate level.
- Bonus qualifications such as REGT1 (Medium Pressure) and 3 phase, and ideally registration on the EUSR portal.
