What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks across the factory
- Dismantle and clean machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Pressure wash and sanitise production areas to required hygiene standards
- Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals following COSHH and safety procedures
- Prepare machinery and electrical components for cleaning activities
- Ensure production areas are ready for operations without delays
- Complete hygiene documentation accurately and on time
- Replenish chemicals and maintain cleaning equipment
- Report defects, spillages, or safety concerns promptly
- Support and train colleagues and new starters when required
- Follow all Health & Safety, GMP, and food hygiene procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A good level of spoken and written English
- Food Safety Level 2
- Health & Safety Level 2
- Coshh awareness
- Previous hygiene or food manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of production environments
