St Michael's Hospital has an exciting opportunity to recruit two Senior Maternity Support Workers (MSW) to join our Inpatient antenatal and postnatal ward and Central Delivery Suite. The role involves supporting the multidisciplinary team to care for women, birthing people, families and their newborn babies. Working in the Central Delivery Suite will also involve working alongside the theatre team supporting elective and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care under the guidance of registered healthcare practitioners.
  • Carry out a range of clinical and non‑clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks in line with the Trust values.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet assessed needs and care plans.
  • Provide compassionate care in high‑pressure environments and maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Training will be provided to ensure you have the required core skills and skill set specific to your area of work.
