Responsibilities

  • The successful SEND LSA will support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and MLD, providing both classroom and individual support while promoting positive behaviour, engagement and independence throughout the school day.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and MLD Essential
  • Team Teach training and experience using positive behaviour management strategies
  • Experience supporting pupils within a school, care or specialist setting
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
