Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and their families/carers, ensuring a courteous first point of contact for all visitors and staff.
  • Assisting with patient check‑in and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Supporting nurses and medical staff in administrative tasks.
  • Answering the phone and liaising with other departments for clerical needs.
  • Entering patient data onto PAS and assisting with the self‑check‑in kiosk.
  • Tracing, printing, labeling and filing patient notes in a methodical manner.
  • Ensuring patient notes are sent for coding/scanning promptly and recording all activity on the computer system.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post, distributing as required.
  • Completing the daily cashup of clinics.
  • Working a rota to be on site at the Bristol diagnostic hub.
