The post holder is expected to have a level of professional training and experience to independently prioritise and manage their clinical/nonclinical workload, and complete assessments and interventions without the need for close clinical supervision. The post holder is personally accountable for their clinical decisions and is required to attend and make good use of clinical supervision arranged within the service, as well as accessing ad hoc supervision and peer support where required.

The specific areas of duty and responsibility in this post are detailed below and will be interpreted through a job plan. This is agreed at least annually with the line manager to take account of varying demands and service changes. The job plan may be revised more frequently as circumstances change.
