PAY: £40,000 - £45,000 PER ANNUM

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm (40 hours per week)

ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Purchasing and Operations Manager to develop and execute a strategic purchasing plan and oversee the operations of various teams.

Duties for the role:

  • Purchasing: Developing purchasing strategy with maximising buying efficiencies from existing suppliers, developing new suppliers for existing products.
  • Purchasing: Ensuring supply and demand of raw materials for manufacturing is managed in the optimum way to keep stock holding at a minimum whilst ensuring sufficient stocks to support manufacturing growth.
  • Operations: Hold themselves personally accountable to the board team for delivering the highest levels of OTIF, Quality and client NPS feedback.
  • Operations: Assisting managers of customer service and production to deliver customer service excellence and ensuring the above KPI's are met and if fall below the targets, devise strategies and initiatives to correct quickly.
  • Operations: Assisting delivery of the operational vision set by board team and COO.
  • Operations: Make operations a strategic enabler of growth and innovation. Work hands-on with Commercial, Product and Technology teams to ensure operational readiness for new offerings, service models and customer requirements.
  • Translate growth plans into practical capacity, supply chain, people and systems solutions – ensuring the company can scale confidently without compromising quality, security or customer trust.

Experience:

  • Lean Implementation: 2 years (preferred)
  • Purchasing Manager: 10 years (preferred)
  • Operations Manager: 5 years (preferred)
