Who are we? We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. At 1625ip we are driven by Social Justice and Passion: we strive to do something that matters and take pride in seeing the results of our work in social outcomes and improving young people’s lives.
How we work Our work is rooted in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) and Trauma‑Informed Practice (TIP). These frameworks shape how we build relationships, use our spaces, and support young people, prioritising safety, trust, collaboration, and an understanding of the impact of trauma in every interaction. Prior experience in PIE or TIP is not required – we’ll support you to learn and develop these approaches in the role.
What you will be doing:
- Develop individual support plans and provide one‑to‑one support for a small caseload of homeless young people, including those leaving care, to help them work towards their goals.
- Collaborate to ensure a safe and thriving home environment for young people.
- Undertake a host of housing‑management tasks, such as preparing properties for letting, supporting young people in entering and leaving our service, and carrying out health and safety checks to ensure the safety of all.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records using organisational and IT skills.
- Work to a set rota that includes mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, demonstrating flexibility.
- Apply and develop knowledge of Supported Accommodation Regulations to support Care‑Experienced young people.
You will be in the Woodleaze Team, reporting to the Woodleaze Manager.

- Hours per week: 35.6 (0.89 FTE)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Pay: £28,142 – £29,540 (pro rata based on 0.89 FTE)
- Location: Woodleaze in Yate, South Gloucestershire. Free parking and good public transport links.
