Do you enjoy working outdoors, using power tools and can handle some heavy lifting? HireGiant are currently looking for a Pallet Repair Operative in Avonmouth. The job involves making and repairing wooden pallets. You will need to remove broken parts and replace them with new wood secured using a nail gun. Pallets will need to be moved by hand, so heavy lifting is involved. Starting at 07:00 and finished by 15:30, working Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for a permanent position, working with an excellent company.
Responsibilities- Make and repair wooden pallets.
- Remove broken parts and replace with new wood, secured with a nail gun.
- Move pallets by hand and perform heavy lifting as required.
- Work hours: 07:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
Pay starts at £12.28 per hour, paid weekly every Friday. After probation you may be eligible for a daily bonus based on pallet repairs completed. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30.
Requirements- Previous labouring experience would be useful but not essential.
- Experience using manual tools or power tools would be beneficial.
- Able to complete heavy lifting when required.
- Safety boots and high-visibility clothing required.
- An understanding of health and safety.
