I am looking to recruit a Support Worker able to commence on a date to be agreed with the successful applicant, subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check. You will work closely with me in person, and possibly online supporting me with writing, so a good level of written work is necessary.
I live at home with my family and a loveable Labradoodle. I have a keen interest in film making, directing, cinematography and watching movies. My favourite films are directed by Stanley Kubrick. I am interested in Greek mythology, science fiction, reading and anything DUNE related. It would be good if you have similar interests as well as being caring, friendly, patient, able to understand and deliver the needs required.
Able to support me with written work and accessing the community; primarily cinema visits and walks, whilst promoting my independence. Working hours are flexible, includes daytime, weekends, and evenings, either online or in person. Approximately 10-20 hours available each month.
As a Personal Care Assistant your job will be to provide:
- Community Access and Shopping
- Cinema Visits

Driving optional. Business insurance will be reimbursed with receipt. Must be a non-smoker. An interest for cinematography/History/creative writing. Knowledge of safeguarding policy and procedure. Experience/knowledge/understanding of neurodivergence and mental health. You must legally be able to work in the UK. Proof of ID, two references and a full DBS check will be required, before anyone is hired. There will be a trial period of 12 weeks. The position is paid at £13.00 per hour. Wages will be paid through the PAYE scheme. This is not a cash position.
