Why am I looking for a care assistant?

To build up a caring connection with me around a weekly contact point as well as for additional ad-hoc occasions and care support needs. These might take the form of:

  • Picking up prescriptions if I am ill
  • Driving to/attending medical appointments (future op needs will include wheelchair walks etc)
  • Driving me to some social events & waiting with me an hour usually

What would the role look like?

Weekly meet ups together to build up a good friendly team bond together; these would be mainly social/chat type (up to 2 hours). Ad-hoc hours to support medical appointments or unfortunate hiccups etc (Premium paid for flexibility). Potential for occasional overnight stays/support.
