We are currently recruiting for an Outreach Worker to work within a street-based outreach service in the Bristol area, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
Role Details
Location: Bristol
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour HP
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial street-based assessments for new rough sleepers and ongoing casework
- Plan and organise outreach shifts using referral and mapping data
- Support clients into accommodation and relevant services via the Pathway
- Organise annual street counts and map hotspot areas
- Attend multi‑agency meetings and liaise with partner organisations
- Support access to accommodation, health services, housing advice, and day centres
- Lead crisis intervention work alongside the Team Manager
- Contribute to service development in line with strategies such as No Second Night Out
- Support cold weather provision and outreach initiatives
- Assist with monitoring service expenditure and volunteer timesheets
Qualifications
Experience working with rough sleepers, homelessness services or street outreach projects and availability for an immediate start is required.
