START DATE: ASAP | PAY: Β£13.50 Per hour | PERMANENT | WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am β 2.30pm / 10am β 3pm | 25 hours per week.
ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ an office support administrator to work with an established client. You will support the day-to-day operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient office management. This position requires strong organisational skills, forward planning, and excellent communication.
Duties for the role:
- Manage office supplies and ensure timely replenishment
- Oversee day-to-day office facilities, liaising with cleaning and maintenance providers
- Coordinate meeting room and hot desk bookings, and support visitor management
- Work with the Health & Safety team to maintain compliance with regulations
- Liaise with transport and operations teams to arrange servicing and repairs for vehicles and equipment
- Handle incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately
- Support the operations team with purchase orders, including creation, review, and receipting
- Assist in organising staff training and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Reconcile monthly credit card receipts and submit to finance
- Maintain the monthly purchase tracker
The successful candidate:
- Highly organised, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills and the ability to plan ahead
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience or awareness of the events or broadcast industry is an advantage
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to take business calls outside normal working hours when required
