Excellent opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in St Philips, Bristol. Hiregiant is looking for an HGV Class 2 driver to join the team in St Philips. You will work for a national supplier, driving a curtain-sided vehicle and completing drops across Bristol and the Southwest. A typical day starts at 6am and can be up to 10 hours, Monday to Friday. Most of the load will be unloaded for you by forklift. Some drops may require unloading using the tail lift and a pump. You are expected to complete up to 15 drops on a local route or up to 10 drops if the route is further away.
Hours and Pay
- Working Monday to Friday, starting at 6am, usually 9 to 10 hours.
- £16.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, category C.
- At least 6 months Class 2 driving experience (due to insurance).
- Valid CPC and tacho.
- Safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
- Understanding of health and safety.
