Do you hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence and looking for a new challenge? Here at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches. You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Multi‑drop deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
  • Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
  • Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, well‑maintained, and free from preventable damage.
  • Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures.
  • Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager.

Key Skills

  • Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
