We’re looking for a confident and motivated Production Coordinator to support our Zone Manager and help drive performance, quality, and safety across the department. About the Role

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations across the department, and helping the team achieve maximum efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and deputise for the Zone Manager when required
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to production operatives
  • Monitor team performance and ensure effective staffing across the shift
  • Address staffing issues promptly and escalates where necessary
  • Support onboarding and buddy training for new starters
  • Carry out effective shift handovers with previous management teams
  • Ensure pre‑start checks are completed and equipment is operational
  • Maintain production readiness and cleanliness standards
  • Complete toolbox and equipment checks at the start and end of shifts
  • Ensure all paperwork and CCP checks are completed accurately and on time
  • Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture
  • Ensure correct PPE is worn in line with colour‑coded procedures
  • Follow factory procedures and report any issues or discrepancies
  • Support traceability and food safety standards across the department

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, ability to motivate and support a team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills
  • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Health & Safety Level 2
  • Knowledge of production operations and processes
