Role Overview
We are currently looking for 2 x Civil Operatives (Groundworkers) to join a long‑term National Grid substation project. This is a strong opportunity for experienced operatives with the right competencies to secure consistent work on a major infrastructure scheme.
Requirements
- National Grid Person (NG Person)
- Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket
- HSG47 (2-Day) Certification
- Full PPE required before starting on site
Candidates without the above will not be considered.
Duties
- General groundworks within a high‑voltage substation environment
- Excavation, duct laying, and reinstatement works
- Safe operation of forward tipping dumper
- Working in line with strict National Grid safety procedures
