Dermatopathology

The current dermatopathology team supports the dermatology, plastic surgery, and oculoplastic surgery services in Bristol. We receive skin specimens from Bristol and neighbouring areas. The existing dermatopathology team consists of five specialist dermatopathologists. This is a part‑time post for a specialist skin pathologist to support the existing dermatopathology team, to promote diagnostic excellence, and provide a framework for developing a leading dermatopathology centre here at NBT. The specialist skin team supports three MDTs and specialised services such as Mohs surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsies.

Diagnostic Cytology

The diagnostic cytology team reports a wide range of specimen types, submitted from NBT and UHBW. This post is to provide more resilience to the diagnostic cytology team.
