About this job:

Class 1 Driver – Location: Cribbs – Shift: 5 out of 7 days. Mon‑Fri.

Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? Safely unload refrigerated vehicles, typically handling up to three deliveries per day, ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency. Operate palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks, or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Drive a modern, well‑maintained fleet of Scania and Volvo vehicles, all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road. Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands, adhering to planned schedules and route requirements. Provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, offering real‑time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations. Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self‑motivated.

Competitive salary £39,236 to £43,526 pa depending on start times. Shift hours: 5 out of 7 days. Start times between 15:00 and 18:00.
