Providing guidance and support to nursery managers and their teams, helping them achieve their best and maintain high standards of early childhood education. Ensuring that all nurseries within your area maintain "Ofsted - Good" or higher ratings, and driving continuous improvement across all settings. Ensuring full compliance with all policies and upholding the highest safety standards across your nurseries. Creating a positive culture that values staff, supports their development, and builds strong relationships with stakeholders. Overseeing financial performance, maximising revenue, and controlling expenses to ensure the financial health of each nursery.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means leading a team of well-supported, skilled staff who are committed to providing the highest quality of care. You will ensure that all nurseries under your management perform at high levels, consistently achieving "Good" or better Ofsted ratings. Full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies will be maintained, and you will ensure that nurseries are clean, safe, and offer inspiring learning environments. Meeting or exceeding targets for occupancy rates and cost efficiency will also be a key measure of your success.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Children and Education (a Degree in Early Childcare is preferred).
- Extensive senior management experience in a multi-setting childcare context.
- Proven ability in staff leadership, service planning, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness and exceptional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software.
