About the Team: It’s an exciting time to join the Inclusion and SEND Advice Service Team as we begin our second year of working with our education settings. The service offers first line support for B&NES education settings, from early years to FE College, as part of the SEND System of Support.
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated person with excellent communication skills. You will provide business support for the Inclusion and SEND Advice Service. You will support the day-to-day administrative activities of the advice service including responding to queries by telephone, email and an online request system alongside administrative duties such as recording and maintaining confidential records. You will be based full time in Keynsham Civic Centre, Monday to Friday, during office hours.
About You:
- GCSE level qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working in children’s services or relevant professional environment
- IT literate with proven ability to use a database and word processing skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organisational skills and a proven ability to work on own initiative
You can expect:
- Regular supervision with your line manager
- Training opportunities, through the council’s training package covering IT skills and Safeguarding and Child Protection courses
