About the Role:
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate female personal assistant to support an elderly woman who is bed-bound and living with dementia. The role involves day-to-day personal care and companionship, with the aim of providing dignified, holistic support that makes a real difference in her life. Two PAs are required for this role at 40 hours per week each. It is essential that the PA speaks Malayalam, as the client is non-verbal in English and communication is key to her wellbeing. No prior experience is necessary. Full training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities:
- Personal hygiene and care
- Assisting with positioning and mobility (including hoisting training provided)
- Managing incontinence
- Preventing pressure ulcers and promoting skin health
- Infection control practices
- Light cleaning and domestic tasks
- Preparing simple meals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Taking the client to social outings in her wheelchair

- Malayalam speaker (essential)

- Willing to learn and follow care plans
- Comfortable providing both practical and emotional support
- Experience is welcome but not required; just the right attitude and commitment
