Team Leader in Brighton

Bucklow Manor is looking for a Team Leader Nights to work 48 hours per week. Would you like to be a part of a caring, supportive team? We now have an opportunity for a Team Leader Care Assistant to join Springcare, where every day you can make a difference to someone’s life.

Team Leaders not only help to provide care to our residents, but they also help to make our residents' lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.

Skills, knowledge, and experience required for the role:

As a Team Leader, you would hold a minimum of a level 3 in Health & Social Care, have experience administering medication, and have proven experience in a similar role.

The Role:

Some of the daily tasks that a Team Leader would carry out are:

• Supporting residents with personal care
• Administering medication
• Maintaining accurate records
• Leading a team of care assistants, and assisting the nurse in charge
• Applying dressings as and when needed
• Taking any samples as and when necessary
• Communicating with external sources such as Doctors and District Nurses

Our care team provides 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am. Typical shift patterns for Night Shift Contracts are from 8pm until 8am.

Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
