Great opportunity to work as a key service team member for our client – an industry‑leading, customer‑focused, long‑distance train operator that customers trust to meet their needs. The role is based in Birmingham. The rate of pay is £12.71 to £13.07 per hour. This role offers 8‑hour shifts – 5 days a week, including weekends: 05:00am – 22:00pm Monday – Saturday, 08:00am – 22:00pm Sunday.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and load orders onto trains.
  • Pack, load, and perform routine checks (e.g. temperature), clean premises, and dispose of waste.
  • Deal with general customer enquiries.
  • Operate basic IT equipment, including use of Excel sheets and scanners.

Requirements

  • Active, driven and able to thrive in fast‑paced, physically demanding environments.
  • Capable of working under pressure and timed conditions due to constant rail updates.
  • A valid and in‑date DBS check is required.
  • Must have warehouse picking and packing experience.
