Job Overview
Supply Chain Production & Material Planner – Worcester.
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience).
Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break).
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily and weekly production plans
- Coordinate material and stock requirements to support production
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate stock discrepancies
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time
- Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and stock control
- Support purchasing activities and supplier performance monitoring
- Maintain accurate planning and stock records
- Liaise with production, warehouse, and commercial teams to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and present planning KPI reports when required
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles
- Experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
- Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
