Our client opened in 2005 and is a family-run business operating under a franchise for Dyno-Plumbing & Heating, which is owned by British Gas. Through their team of 26 qualified Plumbers with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, they offer all plumbing work from a leaking stop tap to full bathroom installation, as well as upgrading hot water systems to an unvented system.

The Role

  • Carry out excavation works to access underground water mains and service pipes
  • Locate, diagnose and repair leaks on the external water network
  • Replace or repair damaged sections of pipework
  • Reinstate excavation areas safely and to a good standard
  • Work closely with dispatch to manage job allocation and updates
  • Liaise with customers regarding access and work being carried out
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards
  • Participate in emergency and out-of-hours rota where required

Requirements

  • Essential NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent/time served experience
  • Experience in plumbing, groundwork, or utilities/mains repair (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with outdoor excavation and manual work in all weather conditions
