Wyldecrest parks, Saltmarshe Castle Park

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team in maintaining the outdoor areas of our premises. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and possess the ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Mowing lawns, leaf clearing, strimming and hedge cutting.
  • Grass cutting and general gardening duties to uphold the appearance of the park.
  • Attending to emergencies and connecting new units to park services when necessary.
  • Maintenance of parking and caravans, including external plumbing and positioning of caravans.
  • Replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting and carrying out a wide variety of maintenance checks and repairs.
  • Coordinating with other contractors when required.
  • Operating primarily outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Keeping the park and facilities attractive, welcoming, safe and free of litter.
  • Working well as part of a closely collaborating team.
  • Landscaping tasks such as paving and fencing.
Qualifications & Preferences:
  • Previous experience in park or caravan home maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of plant machinery and relevant tickets (diggers, loaders, dumper trucks).
  • Self‑motivated and able to exercise initiative in the absence of a line manager.
