About the Role
Provide high‑quality teaching support for young people with mild, moderate, profound or severe learning and/or physical disabilities. Lead taught sessions and group activities, ensuring inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and care for young people with learning disabilities in an educational setting.
- Lead taught sessions and group activities that promote learning and development.
- Report any safeguarding concerns in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to achieve educational outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, including mild to severe, and/or physical disabilities.
- Track record of achieving excellent outcomes within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding policy compliance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating teamwork, compassion, inclusion, innovation and pride.
