Working within the Despatch Warehouse team to manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics relevant to the movement of product and materials to and from site.
Hours
- Day shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday to Saturday, rotating day off.
- Night shift: 5pm-1:30am Sunday to Friday, rotating night off.
Responsibilities
- Customers will be allocated to you by line leaders on a daily basis, from the customer allocation.
- Prepare, check and verify stock.
- Ensure stock is identified correctly; out-of-date stock must be segregated and moved to an appropriate area.
- Report any stock issues from the allocation sheet to your supervisor.
- Palletise and locate stock when necessary in accordance with specifications.
- Ensure stock is picked in rotation and pallets are prepared ready for despatch.
- Use equipment, vehicles and machinery correctly to prevent damage where applicable.
- Report any issues immediately to your supervisor.
- Keep work areas tidy and clean at all times.
- Ensure correct handling, palletising and storage of products to company and customer requirements in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality.
- Maximise best use of storage facilities such as racking, floor space, external storage, containers and loading bays.
