Working within the Despatch Warehouse team to manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics relevant to the movement of product and materials to and from site.

Hours

  • Day shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday to Saturday, rotating day off.
  • Night shift: 5pm-1:30am Sunday to Friday, rotating night off.

Responsibilities

  • Customers will be allocated to you by line leaders on a daily basis, from the customer allocation.
  • Prepare, check and verify stock.
  • Ensure stock is identified correctly; out-of-date stock must be segregated and moved to an appropriate area.
  • Report any stock issues from the allocation sheet to your supervisor.
  • Palletise and locate stock when necessary in accordance with specifications.
  • Ensure stock is picked in rotation and pallets are prepared ready for despatch.
  • Use equipment, vehicles and machinery correctly to prevent damage where applicable.
  • Report any issues immediately to your supervisor.
  • Keep work areas tidy and clean at all times.
  • Ensure correct handling, palletising and storage of products to company and customer requirements in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality.
  • Maximise best use of storage facilities such as racking, floor space, external storage, containers and loading bays.
