We have flexible opportunities available for teachers looking for day-to-day and short-term supply work, with regular bookings available depending on your experience and availability.

Job Title: Secondary Cover Teacher Location: South Manchester Start Date: Immediate Contract: Day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities Working Hours: Monday to Friday Pay: £150-£200 per day DOE.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Taking responsibility for classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absence.
- Delivering lessons using work and resources provided by the school.
- Maintaining clear expectations and managing behaviour effectively.
- Supporting pupils to remain focused and engaged with their work.
- Adapting your approach to suit different classes and school environments.
- Providing feedback to school staff where appropriate.
- Working professionally with teachers, Teaching Assistants and school leadership.
- Helping to ensure continuity of learning throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching or covering classes within a secondary school.
- Be confident managing groups of secondary-aged pupils.
- Be able to build positive relationships quickly.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be flexible and comfortable working across different schools.
- Be reliable, professional and available for supply work.
