We are looking for a driven Warehouse Operative (Goods In) to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).
- Salary £35,715.95 pa (Basic £32,469.45 with a shift allowance of £3,246.95) - 4 on 4 off Shift pattern - 2 Days, 2 Nights 4 days off - 12 Hour shifts
- Day: 07:00 to 19:00 & Night: 19:00 to 07:00
- Permanent role

As a Warehouse Operative (Goods In), you'll be at the front line of the site's warehouse and logistics operation, making sure every delivery of raw materials, packaging and ingredients is received, checked and put away accurately and safely.
No two shifts are the same
- you'll be receiving and checking inbound deliveries, verifying quantities and batch/best-before dates, processing goods receipts on SAP and EWM, generating and applying compliant labels, and using RF scanning to put stock away in the right place, in the right order.
Full training on our systems will be provided.
Ideally, you will be someone who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things accurate and organised.
You'll manage your own area of the goods-in process, keep on top of stock rotation and housekeeping, and work closely with colleagues across the warehouse to keep deliveries flowing smoothly.
Warehouse Operative (Goods In): Key responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and processing all inbound deliveries against purchase orders
- Verifying quantities, batch/lot numbers, best-before dates and product condition
- Processing goods receipts in real time on SAP and EWM
- Generating and applying compliant labels (batch, allergen, best-before)
- Using RF scanning to complete system-directed putaway, maintaining FIFO/FEFO rotation
- Operating MHE (forklift/pump truck/reach truck) where licensed
- Keeping the goods-in area clean, safe and organised at all times
